My Story

With my 1st class degree in Electronic Engineering from Bristol, I began my career in project management within a large consultancy.

I quickly discovered a recurring theme: teams were spending significant amounts of time duplicating inputs into multiple tools and documents with little or no integration between them. This was not just unproductive; worse, it led to conflicting data sources from outdated entries, wasting even more time in meetings to clarify which version was correct.

Drawing on my engineering skills, I developed automations for the projects I supported, saving myself ~10 hours each week. That's a 25% reduction in workload. Rolled out to a team of nine project managers, that's ~90 hours of weekly saving.

It became clear to me that organisations consistently waste time with avoidable manual processes. Not because they lack the will to improve, but because delivery pressures leave inadequate time for improvement initiatives.
